Considering the only hats I ever wear are toques, knowing my head's specific size really isn't an issue. But I once did know my size, just can't remember any more because it's been so long since I've worn a sized hat.

As far as hats, I just don't do them just like I don't do watches, jewellery or sun glasses. I can out-peasant extraslow any day of the week.

I find the shape of the overall hat plays a factor, doesn’t seem to be a super universal fit on those. Have a couple L-XL I can’t even wear case they’re too tight

Same here. 6"1 and 180 ish but have oblong alien shaped head. Cannot do profit as it gives me a raging headache/marks on my forehead. Snap backs
or velcro straps for me. No dad hats though (hipsters..)

How does one even figure out the size in the measurements in the poll?!? It can't be circumference unless we're talking about a different head. I think my hats say L on the tag.

I have no choice but to go to the store and try them on. They all fit different even though they are the same size. I have the smallest head, almost like the guy from beetlejuice and it's hard to find proper sizes.

When I sleep sitting down for about 10-15 minutes and my head is hanging down, I usually wake up to a stiff/sore neck. Is this just a general sleep while sitting down problem, or a big head problem?

It's a big head problem. I have the same issue. I suggest doing neck specific exercises and try a posture medic as you probably have "geek neck:"
