Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup Voting

Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup voting opened this morning, it's to reward Peewee hockey teams for contributions to the community.

I have a special connection to one of the teams, the Fort St. John Flyers. My brother in law Sid was the coach, and my nephew plays on there. It was a tough year for the team, as Sid passed away unexpectedly over the holiday season. Sid's been a pillar of the BC hockey community, coaching minor hockey for over 2 decades across Williams Lake and Fort St. John. Coaching hockey was his passion, it's all we talk about whenever we hang out. His claim to fame was winning the BC Midget AAA championship with Carey Price back in 2003, whom he has stayed close with throughout his career.
