Dye-ing leather seats

Picked up some newer model seats for my car but they are a different color. has anyone dye'd (DIY) their seats a darker color? Looking to go from light grey to black. Where to get leather dye locally?

Michaels carries the dye and Youtube has lots of tutorials. One of the older wheeler dealers episodes did some yellow seats black and they turned out awesome. It’s a bit of an involved process.
