I am starting my search for a new car or SUV and was hoping to get the opinions and thoughts of fellow Beyonders. I am looking for a newer vehicle under $50K. These are the items I am hoping to have:

AWD
V6 or V8
traction control
dual climate control
heated and ventilated front seats
heated steering wheel
radar cruise
lane assist, blind spot monitoring
safety assist (i.e brake for you)
rear entertainment package (i.e screen on each chair or central screen)
leather seats
keyless entry
nice to have automatic start but not required
For an SUV it would be great to have third row but not necessary

All right lets hear your recommendations, if my wants exceed the budget make it known too!
Thanks!

The new Subaru Ascent should have most of those things.

I got the 2018 Crosstrek limited and have everything in it you want except for:

V6 or V8
ventilated front seats
rear entertainment package (i.e screen on each chair or central screen)
For an SUV it would be great to have third row but not necessary

It seems like a pretty solid option.

Rear seat entertainment is always part of ridiculously expensive packages. Buy two good quality tablets for the back and you will be miles ahead in finance and function.

Then get a Kia stinger.

14+ MDX has all those features for $30-50k depending on the year.

Ford flex is the closest thing you can get to a hearse these days. So it's got that going for it.

Is motorized rear seat folding pretty normal for SUVs these days? I saw this for the Flex and was quite impressed.

Yes I definitely have this guy on my list...I want to stay away from German cars now as I have previously owned a BMW and while I love them the repair costs kill me!
I also like the Lexus RX new styling but the cost of the options can exceed my budget.

Some good options to consider in this thread. Hahah I like post about Honda Pilot - sure does take your soul away
