I have a small (2500 or pounds) non-running car I need to move 100 or so feet to the garage. Would a strap like this work? Would a chain be better? If not, recommend something please. I'll be pulling it with a Dodge Ram, tips?

That will work fine.

The strap is fine. Does the car have brakes or at least and ebrake? Just be careful where you attach and go very very slow. Assuming you are pushing by hand into garage unless you have a drive -through

Yes it does have working brakes and hand brake, plan is just to pull it (with someone steering it) by attaching to the factory recovery point and pull it close to the garage and then push it in by hand

Yep, that'll be fine, just make sure you're pulling smooth and steady and not jerking on the line - open tow hooks don't like shock loading. Never use it for recovery, only towing.

And for fuck sakes make sure the ignition is turned on so you can steer and brake lol just mentioning it because I've seen this before and it turned out bad.
