Here is what I am working with:

My intentions are to clean up this mess and in doing so I have picked up a 42u rack to clean up the servers, switches, and cabling.

I would like to put the patch panels and switch inside the 42u cabinet but when they put in the patch panels well they gave no extra room or give. The 42u cable only has a bottom entrance for cables coming in. My thought is to put the patch panels into the cabinet but to do that I would need to figure out what to do with the cables.

Here is my thinking.....

Remove the patch panels and put some female keystones on then run long cable lengths of cable into the cabinet then re-punch them down.

Or would you just leave the patch panels and run longer cables into the cabinet?

Thoughts? Feedback?
