IWC is only for the 63. I took out a loaner E43 a while back while my 63 was being serviced and it didn't have the IWC...Rage would know for sure though

Having a hell of a time trying to configure this car. First batch and supply chain ramp ups, and weird MB decisions always fucks with trying to get everything I want.

Night Package and AMG Driver's package aren't compatible with each other, this one seems to be solved as my order was early enough that I got assigned both.

No Performance seats (Recaros) available on the Coupe, only available on the Sedan. Last year the Recaros weren't compatible with the self driving package, they fixed that this year so the Sedan can be fitted with both Performance Seats as well as self driving, but not available on the Coupe.

The wheels are my biggest issue. The wheels shown in the video aren't available if I order the AMG Driver's package for some bizarre reason. Only the ugly wheels from the press release are available. The only option I care about in the Driver's package is the Performance exhaust (don't care about the alcantara steering wheel which wears poorly or the track lap timer as it's a street car for me) but the exhaust isn't available separately. So either I get exhaust with the wheels I hate, or I get the wheels I want without the exhaust.

It comes with 20's, so was going to just buy 19" winters. Don't like wasting wheels. Hoping someone orders the older style wheels that I like and want to trade.

RVR is what I want, RTO and RTZ is what I'm allowed to choose with Night package and AMG Drivers package combo. RTZ is just ugly as fuck, RTO is just ugly (and what I have spec'd for now).

Who knows, by the time they lock down my order, they're probably going to fuck me and kick AMG Drivers package out of my order. I'll end up with the wheels I want, but quiet noise. That will really piss me off.

I wish I had that, not for the scent but because it comes with the ionizer. Supposed to make a huge difference in air quality. Just never refill the canister. I looked at a retrofit but then decided I don’t want to hack apart my C’s dash and glove box as it’s a touch involved.

Can confirm, the wheels look great. Those are the exact ones I have right now haha. As others have echoed, I would definitely pick the PE over the wheels.

Mercedes moved the price up on the CLS. The difference in MSRP is around 10k between the E53 coupe vs CLS53. The gap is even bigger with the 450s at around 15k.

These are US numbers. Canadian numbers haven’t been announced yet. I have no clue how much my car is costing me.

No word on the sedan yet but it will be priced between $83900 and $86000 as MB Canada lowered the pricing on the wagon to now slot under the sedan instead of over.

It’s 430hp with boost up to 450hp and zero lag. Shmee’s and others complaints is that it’s watering down the AMG name. It’s a great car that shouldn’t be an AMG.

The pricing of the car is in line with the old E550 which is what the 43 and 53 replaced. I would’ve bought it if it was an E530 non AMG, but it’s nice that it got some AMG bits such as the exhaust noise and ESP programs.

I’ve been looking forward to this drivetrain since it was announced. I even got green rebates for insurance as it’s a hybrid. I predicted 2 years ago that we would see a performance hybrid at under $100k. Really thought bmw/Toyota collaboration would be first to market and not Mercedes.

Correct. I was just literally whining about it in my group chat.

No carbon, I purposely did not order any carbon pieces. The only carbon pieces available are the interior trim that replaces the wood, mirrors and spoiler. No CF diffuser at all.

I'm not picking it up until Monday. I did drive the CLS53 though. The exhaust note is terrific. Drives like a NA car, instant response, with a bonus huge tq boost off the line. The new grey open pore wood is amazing. Wish it was available on the E.

The “base” wheel is much nicer. It’s basically a 20” version of the CLK Black Series wheel with and without black accents.
