Hey my kid is in a rear facing seat and she sits close to the rear window in my silverado. She could get way too much sun on long drives. I bought one with suction cups and it kept falling off. I believe it could be hard to stick because of the defrost wire.

I was thinking tint but was wondering if there was any other options.

I believe all auto-glass is UV proof...unless you are referring to heat or just the sun in her eyes?

I had this issue with my kid, even on the side windows they would fall off. Best solution I found was tinting the rear windows of the vehicle, completely legal and keeps my little guy cool. They even have ceramic tint now which isn't as dark but blocks all the uv/heat. Tint Tech for the win!

Usually only the windshield is UVA protected to the extent you need it.

i was under the impression only the windshield blocked uv? sounds like tint is the way to go. any idea what shadow tint charges for 3 windows?

turns out glass block uvb which causes burns. guess as long as the baby doesnt mind it doesn't really matter.

Tint. Unless you want a fancy car with a built-in automated one.
