I have a new set of Forgestar F14's I am planning to have refinished as per the photo below:

These wheels were originally introduced with the finish shown however that option is no longer available though my vendor.
I have had a set of OEM MDX wheels recoated for winters at Calgary Tire Shop a couple years ago and the coating has held up well so I am impressed with their quality. Calgary Tire Shop now offer "diamond cutting" or "machining" and I will probably go back to them however they quoted me approximately 8 weeks to have the wheels refinished....they are also offline for two months this summer and while this is something of a "trial and error" process on finishes I would like to pursue this a bit earlier that xmas 2018.
So, anyone have any recommendations/experiences with wheel refinishing? Simply polishing the wheels isn't out of the question either.
