i couldn't find an illegal stream either..... had to sign into TSN via my telus optik account

lol I was thinking the same but then I realized CBC is not streaming world cup anymore, so if you are a hardcore cord-cutter then you're SOL
fortunately I have access to relatives Shaw Freerange accounts.

I tried to do the same to watch this morning but kept getting errors on TSN FFS.

Ive cut the cord too.

Get a DNS proxy and watch it on BBC or ITV, much better coverage than TSN.

Able to cast to Chromecast with Ace Player. Did freeze up frequently for a few seconds at a time throughout both games I watched; not sure if it's my computer or not (old HP TouchSmart).

Able to cast to Chromecast with Ace Player.

How do you do this? I was using Sodaplayer before to cast but I read that program is collecting data from your PC.

Cable login is easy too. I've been using TSN go.

I don't have cable so no TSN login for me.
To Chromecast from Ace Player look on the taskbar for an icon that looks like a round rainbow with a play arrow in the middle. Might be in hidden icons.
Right click the icon and select Media-Server (beta).
Select My Playlist.
Select Add Content
Paste the Ace Stream ID into Content ID. Select Add to Playlist.
On the right is a Play button. Select the drop down beside it and you should see these selections:
Chromecast
Ace Media Player
Windows Media Player.
