Normally I have BT audio, but my car doesnt have it, so I have to use an aux cable....I'm in the dark ages. Anyways, I'd rather mount my phone somewhere, than in the glove box. What mount do you guys use and where did you get it?

I have one of these in every vehicle and a spare to toss into the work truck. Even with my otterbox, I put the metal plate between the rubber and outside plastic and it stays pretty firm. Plus its nice not having to deal with clamps etc.

I use those with a clamp with a magnet, attach to the vent, and put a small metal piece between your phone and case, work really good!

I also use the same vent mounts. I've heard really good things about this version: https://www.primecables.ca/p-352918-cab-mcm18-magnetic-car-mount-360-degree-rotatable-universal-car-phone-mount-holder-primecables

I'm actually amazed how long this one has held up. Bought it in a pinch at Princess auto for like $4, expecting it to last a month before I could find something better. Still rocking it 2 years later.

Ya but will that allow me to view my music on screen and use my steering controls? That's what I'm looking for in coding...

I use the magnetic iphone mount too. Better than any mount I've ever had and only $12.

Lol no fucking way, I'm not going that far into it. I beleive I can get it coded, I think I have the proper hardware for it. Just have to find someone that knows how to do it.

In the meantime, the phone mount is the best idea even after I get it coded.

Magnets are the way to go.

I have them in all my vehicles including my bouncy as fuck work truck and it’s never come off.

This one is actually in a BMW in the photo as well, so that's a plus.
