Just checking to see if anyone knows of or recently used a good contractor that has more condo experience?
Looking to completly gut the place, keeping it all structurally the same (not moving any walls or anything major)
Hopefully someone has a decent contact

A condos not really any diffrent from a home internally.

Make sure you get approval from the condo board before work starts, if thats what your bylaws require.

Yeah internally i agree any general house contractor can do the job, however its easier if a contractor has a bit more experience dealing with condo management to arrange working times(noise)/elevator use/garbage disposal ect
Just trying to do the proper due diligence to not piss off the board or any neighbors in the process.

I'd engage the board regarding regulations before getting into too deep of discussion with a GC

I would also suggest talking with the board. Our condo board has a few GC's that they use for repairs and work so they might already have relationships with companies that do good work.
