We've recently got back in to racing claimer cars out in Drumheller...

We are a racing team that runs an entry level class in Drumheller (Dirt Oval), we are looking for some cheap (sub $200) complete 4 cylinder Front Wheel Drive cars, standard or automatic is fine, salvage or out of province is ok as well, even damage is ok as long as its mechanically sound or could be without a significant investment.

We are building these cars to let people borrow who might be interested but don't have the time or facilities to build their own, or perhaps want to try things out before they "claim" one.

The cost of these cars must be below $200 because we have to put in a lot of time and materials to make them race safe, and with this class, any of these cars can be claimed after the race for only $600, so spending more than $200 on the car we'd lose money if it was claimed.

I'll even send you pics of your car as a RACECAR once we have it ready and racing!!

We could also put some decals for your business or a business you support on the car and list them as a sponsor which would be announced at every race.

Some examples of suitable cars would be
Chevrolet Cavalier
Pontiac Sunfire
Honda Civic
Honda Accord
Honda Prelude
Chrysler PT Cruiser
Dodge Daytona
Dodge Reliant or K Car
Anything that's Front wheel Drive 4 Cylinder, and mostly drivable.

We have a tow company that sponsors us with discounted rates, so we can pick it up with a tow truck. (We are located near Beiseker but may travel for the right cars)

Perfect! For $200 you can come get my kids 99 Accord out of my yard! It even runs perfect he just couldn't resist speeding and promptly got a licence suspension, now the pos sits.

My shop is in Strathmore but I also have a dealer plate so delivery could be negotiated.

My one friend is consistently on the all girls team.no its not the 24 hrs of lemons thing.... its dirt oval racing at a real race track. we race about once a month along with legends, imca modifieds, and hobby stocks, occasionally sprint cars.
