Hey my co workers truck just got taken at the intersection of 14th St and Southland Drive SW. It is a newer GMC Sierra quad cab, and it has a yellow sticker in the rear left window that says "Peter Hughes Landscape".

The co workers black lab is in the back of the cab.

Please keep your eyes peeled.

I'm guessing the location is given just as a general area.

If the dog was in it, guaranteed truck was left running with A/C on, smash the window, good to go.

Bingo. Currently tracking with gps and police. On its way to Cochran. Anyone know what to do if it gets to the reserve?

I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

Cops have to stop. Can't cross county lines. Or that's what Dukes of Hazzard taught me.

Sucks, hopefully they get the vehicle and dog back safe!

I am fairly certain I saw this truck in the bush out hwy 1a past Morley. Cops had it blocked in with their vehicles and trees.

Thief was enjoying quite the joy ride. Truck was apparently spike stripped and then rammed by RCMP.

I always thought OnStar was stupid until today's events. We were able to track its movement in real time via the app.

OnStar's Stolen Vehicle Slowdown is one of three Stolen Vehicle Assistance tools OnStar offers subscribers. A Remote Ignition Block makes it impossible to start a stolen vehicle once turned off. And a GPS location can be provided to authorities once a vehicle is confirmed stolen.
