Anyone DIY'd this themselves? OR pay someone off Kijiji to just get it done?

And has anyone tried spraying it on or just rolling it?

rolling it in
i just did it myself as it’s only a 30min job to do unless your driveway is a block long lol

It is easy. I do it every two years. Being the son of a dad who was in the concrete business for 60 years I have no choice lol. Make sure you clean the driveway first. Let it dry and use a semi rough roller to aply it. Don't buy the shit from Home Depot. Go to a contractors supply place like:

https://www.nca.ca/nca-northland

Don't go too shiny unless you are doing an exposed aggregate pad/driveway.

There are different levels of shine you can purchase. Chances are you bough a lower sheen.

The stuff you buy from Home depot or Lowes is crap. Doesn't last long either. get a contractor grade sealer. The place I listed above is in the NE and sells different levels of sheen.

Anyone know the difference between these two?
https://hardrockdevelopments.com/product/sureseal-hs340-5-gallon/
Or
https://www.nca.ca/product/premium-seal-cure-25-189l-9679

The sureseal is about $350 for a 5 gallon. Hard rock says this is the stuff 9/10 guys buy
The AR premium is about $160 for 5 gallons. Northland Concrete says this is the stuff their guys buy.
Am I really going to be able to tell the difference between the two?

Also is it too cold already to apply sealer still? Running out of nice weekends this year. I assume its important to get it down before winter/snow/salt.

Can you just use a roller for this or does it need to be applied by a spray?

The guys at both stores say its still warm enough to apply, the curing time will probably be longer so 5 days instead of 3 before you can drive on it.
Roller application is the most common method. Spraying I can imagine would fuck up your sprayer

It is still warm enough. Use a semi-rough roller to apply it.

I don't know what stuff you are using but it doesn't take 5 days to cure. When I used to work in concrete we just told people to wait 1 day.

At my old place I resealed my concrete every 2nd year. Never waited more than a day to drive on it.

I'm not a concrete guy so I can only go off data sheets and such. says 3 days on the data sheet
