I love wet races. Qualifying in the rain is so much better.

Spa is such a great track.

Ferrari has won at a power track quite easily, and it's hard to imagine a different outcome at Monza next week. Mercedes have a lot of work to do.

Nothing Mercedes can do before next weekend to catch Ferrari, unless it rains. Great job by Ferrari to finally out develop Mercedes. Only took 4 years to do it, the power gap has been decent through the year. It would’ve been a runaway championship if they didn’t fuck up so bad early in the season.

For the rest of the season, Merc needs to figure out wtf Ferrari is doing with the ERS system, that’s where most of the advantage lies, not in the ICE.

I'm going to miss Alonso. No one does crashes like that guy.

Kimi has no fucking luck. He looked so good all weekend. This is Ferrari's to lose at this point, unless some rain and some luck happens, Vettel has this locked up.

What a race. Action, giant gaps, 0 point williams. It had everything. Super fast pit stop with no errors allowed seb to keep the lead as hamilton closed I think it was 2 s from his pit exit to sebastians.
Looks like some trickery might be afoot with the mercedes rear wing though.

Even after seeing the tire marks on Leclerc's Halo, I didn't grasp the kind of force it took. This video shows Alonso's suspension breaking from the impact.

Only a Vettel fan would use those words to describe the race. The consensus is that this was a top 3 boring race of 2018. I guess the lack of mistakes is considered great action for Vettel/Ferrari fans? haha

Of course after germany :)
I was being half sarcastic, as after the front three pulled ahead, there wasn't much going on at all. Would have been a better watch if ric and kimi were in the fight.

Like how Kimi and Seb both had to point out obvious things to their race people - in Kimis case his rear wing was stuck open and with Seb, they pushed his car around without properly raising it and potentially scratching the floor.

No potentially, it was definitely scraping it.

I get the sense that with Ferrari, the track guys are promoted based on who they know, rather than their skills.

Rumours out there in the wild of Alonso and Tony Stewart both running in the 2019 Indy 500.

Yea I dont know how anyone could say that was an entertaining race other than the opening lap and Im a vettle fan to boot. Too bad because Spa is my favourite track and Ive been looking forward to this race all summer. Glad to see the drivers championship battle get closer though.
