Depends on dealer allocation and your spot in line. It can also depend on what options you ordered.

I ordered my 2014 E63S wagon in Jan 2013 and didn't see it until Dec 21, 2013. I was #1 on the list for a wagon. Sedans started being delivered in Sept 2013.

There was a massive delay on the 2018 E63s. They sat at the port in Halifax for months and months. Some dealers were giving out loaners to people who didn't cancel.

Similar situation with when I ordered my C63 before the E63.

There shouldn't be any delays with the E63S this year, since it's not a new engine so no need for recertification. The 2019 E450's (same engine different tune, +30hp) already arrived last month. The big delays are always with certification, which sits on the responsibility of the EPA in the US as we adopt their certification in Canada. There were some delays with E classes last year because of a lack of air suspension and dual screen parts, but AFAIK those got cleared up over the summer.

I dunno how long my wait is for the E53 as it's a new engine. Good times.

Anyone else have 2019 E63s on order? I ordered in early September, but the VIN says August, 29/2018. I’ve read through some of the MBworld thread, “MY2019”, but it’s mostly Americans and I’m not really certain how MB Canada and US differ. I know there are a ton of Mercedes guys on this forum, so I figured I’d ask if anyone knew or could provide some insight on when these cars will start landing?

Thanks!

Congrats...I waiting and waiting for my 2018 E63s..

What spec did you go with?

What's the schedule on the e63s refresh? My2021?

Yup. Will be interesting what changes. MBUX is my guess, which means finally touch screens.

There's already been quite a bit of change in the E's for 2019 at it's 3rd year, upgraded autonomous driving suite, 400 to 450 with a 30hp boost, and the "53" hybrid drivetrain. Pretty much a refresh.

Comfort and AMG in the same sentence lol.

Did you spec Magno Paint and then plan on getting XPEL anyways?

Congrats!

That's a great spec. Stopped next to one of those the other day with the same paint/wheels, looks great.

I hate massagers but the heated ass massage is great for long road trips. The active bolsters aka #metoo seats are awesome, I have them in my wagon. Tightens up and touches you inappropriately to hold you in place. Bit of a let down for my coupe order because it’s unavailable.

Anyone have any insight on the 2019 GLE lineup? Is there a 2019 GLE or are they skipping and doing a 2020 refresh? Or will we see a 2019 GLE with the refresh? I can't find any definitive info online? Debating between the 19 X5 redesign or the new GLE.

I think I've seen vids of the next gen GLE online somewhere? It looks really good.

I hope you're planning on Xpel'ing the whole car? As much as I love the matte paint of my Bimmer man is it ever hard to maintain and keep 'clean' - free of swirls, scratches, rock chips etc. I kinda regret not getting mine done but at the same time I don't wanna spend anything more than I have to on a leased vehicle. Yours looks great and I've always loved the designo finishes, just make sure you have clear XPEL all around it.

After the order was done I kinda regretted the Magno Grey because of how many ordered it, but it just looks so awesome in person, so I’ll live with it. I’m going to order some Vossens or ADV.1’s in the new year so it’ll still have some features to differentiate from others.

I dunno man. I prefer stock wheels on cars nowadays. Unless they are winters of course.

It's my understanding that the Magno paint on the mercs is miles ahead of the other brands in terms of durability. At least that's what a bunch of guys on the AMG forums who have multiple brands of cars say. I love the look of that paint, but it scares me too much, too.

stock wheels look great. but its all a matter of taste, i guess. the Vossens for sure look like they are trying too hard. My opinion only.

Still impossible to match if you get damage.

This happened last week. Some dingleberry back into my wife in parking lot.

Funny thing is that now the Xpel isn’t going to match. Haha.

By the way, there is something called Stek Dynomatt that is way better than Xpel. The E63 is wrapped in Xpel and the Expy in Dynomatt.

I am same boat as you, I am kindof an OEM wheel nut. I saw a guy driving around the other day with a white base A7 and orange wheels with rubber band tires. Looked ridiculous on what should be a classy car.

The optional forged AMG rims you and I have are fantastic looking and I have no interest in replacing them.

PS that expedition looks amazing...

OP if you plan on using the original AMG rims for winters i would recommend trying to sell them first, they are going to get trashed and command pretty good prices on the used market especially as new take offs.

Ya I have seen them as well. One video will call it the 2019 and the next the 2020. And the dealership acts clueless likely because they want to move all remaining 2018 product.

They probably are clueless. Also the mb Canada website is always months behind. Configurators for new models arrive way earlier in other countries

It's MY2020. The W166 is going through an extended cycle. MY2012-MY2015 was ML, 2016-2019 is "facelift" GLE. MY2020 is the new model. It got unveiled last month, available in Europe probably around spring, and we get it next year in the fall.

It's because MB Canada have this weird policy where prices aren't unveiled until literally the day of the first customer delivery. It's annoying as fuck.

I have no clue how much my car costs. :nut:

Thanks for the replies, gents. It looks like it’s supposed to land November 9th, so hopefully the winter rubber, XPEL and tint are done quickly so I can break it in. Do you guys break yours in as per MB recomemendation? I’m not overly patient, so I’d prefer to break it in the old fashion way, but I also don’t want it turning into a shit wagon. It’s my first “performance” car, so I’d like it to last a couple years.

Minus the bow, this is what I ordered. I didn’t get the AMG seats, cause I like comfort and massage. I’ll save the uncomfortable seats for the next car.

Nice, I was going to go with the edition 1 last year, ended up with Canvasite Blue with the massage seats...Best car I have owned

Eh stock wheels aren't for everybody, totally depends on the car/year. Some stocks are sharp, some ugly af.

Some mutual buddies own brixton forged and they have done some sick E63 shoots/rims (among many other cars). I can't blame guys for wanting to have something different about their car especially if you start to see a bunch of them around.

No tunes for me. This is a daily driver, and work car

Cars pretty impressive as is

Such a beautiful machine! This car has some impressive stats and reviews. Did you tune yours? I see some guys in the U.S putting down impressive power, I’m definitely going to get downpipes and a tune.
