No more raspberry jam?

Have you guys noticed restaurants removing raspberry jam from their jam selection?

There is only one breakfast place in Red Deer that still has raspberry jam, no other place has it. They used to, but now they don't. I'm assuming cost is a factor.

They sure love stacking strawberry tho. Even that marmalade crap. (Garbage by the way. Raspberry is far superior.)

My house is stocked with homemade raspberry jam from my mother. Her raspberry canes tooknover her garden, so she's got more than she can use.

Interesting. I'll have to try Denny's in Red Deer. I haven't been there in a long time. Ricky's used to be our go to spot. They used to have raspberry jam there, but got rid of. Sunshine Grill opened up and we tried there, same thing. Canadian Brewhouse has a good brunch but no raspberry jam. None at Cora's either. The only place that I go to strictly for breakfast is Phil's, an old school diner that's been around Red Deer for a long time... and they got the jam!

We froze around 100 lbs of raspberries this year that we picked along our garage. Looking at what grocery stores and farmer’s markets charge I should just quit my day job and sell these instead. But the ice cream and pancake topping my wife makes is delicious, so I’m hoarding it all. Lol

Update: Went to Cora's for breakfast today..... they had one packet of Raspberry jam from a supplier I've never heard of before. I didn't try it tho... went egg on toast style instead.
