Hey guys, I know cars in Ontario are supposedly 'rust buckets' but does this apply to cars in New Brunswick as well or they should be in better condition?

Worse really, closer to the Ocean. I've seen many clean ones that have been Krowned yearly.

East coast cars are just as bad. Anywhere that has humidity and salt.

Half my vehicles have come from Vancouver Island because no salt, and low km's. There's 1980's Hyundai Pony's that look brand new still rolling around.

Even for a 2017 year car with very low km or should it be ok?

I think if the car is that new and hasn't been driven much it SHOULD be fine regardless of where it comes from. You just need to see if the deal you're getting is so good that it outweighs any potential likelihood that there may be some rust.

From the pics it looks pristine and the price is a lot cheaper then here.. I don’t think a car would even rust within a yr right? Lol

My boss just had a Jeep shipped from Halifax, was just shy of $2g. So unless there's something unique about this car, wouldn't seem worth it IMO.

Born and raised in NB, the above statement is true. It's not just the salt on the roads and salt from the oceans, it's the annual safety BS they have to go through, so people hack shit together and the majority of people don't take care of their stuff properly. Just stay away.
