Still a great looking car. My eye doesn't see the same amount of changes that have come with previous new model designations. 911-964-993-996-997-991 all seemed to take a bigger swing at the silhouette.

The bigger upgrades are in the interior, which looks great.

A nice evolution of the 991. I believe all models are now widebody like the 4's.

This thing looks fantastic, and as mentioned the new interior is great.
Not that it matters for me, I won't be in the market for a new 911 for another 10 years. haha

Looks like a refined Beetle once again. lol.
I wouldn't mind one if the opportunity presents but not a die hard Porsche fan at all.
Another $10K price increase ...
So, even a Carrera 4S .. will be average $175-180K + taxes out of the door ... which is quite pricey for a regular 911, but when consider it is much quicker than a 996 Turbo 15 year ago @$220K .. and Boxster S is ~100K now than it isn't bad...

A friend is picking up his 2019 Cayenne Turbo in a couple of weeks which ended up being ~$200K :nut: Porsches are so expensive.

This is why I ended up with an AMG GTS. Porsches aren't very good value.

It's not what it costs you to buy, it's what it costs you to sell. :D
New generation 911s typically hold their value remarkably well for at least the first 4 or so years...

moar billable hours!
I know, but I already work plenty
Part of that 10 year look-ahead is being in a role where I don't derive my value from billables
That's another thread though...

Will you be trading in in your current GT3RS? I just called them about a 992 GT3RS also.

The only problem I have is the toggle switch style shifter. I have seen video how it actuates and looks like limp noodle.

Next year. Just like only the S and 4S is available initially. They’re introducing the volume model first, then base, manuals, GTS, GT3, GT3RS and maybe a GT2. Some other trickled SE models too.
