As crappy as 70's Dodge electrics and steering were, I still love driving my '78 Ramcharger. Nothing bings, tweets, whistles or talks to you when you are driving.. Of course I'd never hear it over all the rattles and squeaks that is a product of the lacklustre workmanship of the 1970's proud UAW Chrysler workforce.
Now will reintroduction tank the value of every legitimate first gen Bronco? Remember all the kerfuffle among the collectors and clubs when companies started reintroduction the Porsche collectables and what not.

I keep thinking about a Coyote power train for my 77 Ford. Very tempting if I actually keep the thing and want to get into debt again, lol.

everyone goes holy shit about the price, until they see how much it costs to basically rebuild one of these from scratch into a working/moving vehicle with all the bugs worked out. if you were to attempt a build like this on your own i'm sure with just the basics you'd be at 100k USD no questions asked. Add in the wilwood brake kit and the suspension and wheels and seats and engine and it gets expensive quick. 8k for just the engine alone, and that doesn't come close to having everything needed to make it run.
