Whats the best way to install these? Directly hooked to car battery?

Anyone experiance theft because they can see the camera?

The easiest way to hook it up is using a fusetap. (ex: https://www.gearbest.com/other-motorcycle-accessories/pp_757174.html?wid=1433363&currency=USD&vip=16079283&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6aWv6Pup3wIVg0ZeCh2AcAGtEAQYBCABEgLkAvD_BwE) Find an accessory fuse that's only on when the car is, use the fuse tap and run the power cord behind the headliner, etc, to get to the fuse box.

What I actually did was use a fusetap to add a dual-outlet power adaptor which I've put under my seat. Now I've got two power plugs that I can plug anything into under my seat, and I just ran the camera power cord behind the pillars, etc, to get under my seat. And if I switch cameras, I don't have to change the fuse tap, I just unplug it from the power source under the seat and replace it. Boom. On and off with the car.

If you want constant power to the camera, then you'd just pick a different fuse to tap into.
