New cabinets, recommendations?

Asking for a friend, he's looking to redo the cabinets in his kitchen, preferably just the doors. Anyone have good experiences with someone who does cabinets?

Prepare to pay out the ass for new cabinets, cheapest I found was ~6k.

We just finished a reno with "New Look Cabinets"

They were definitely behind on their timelines, but the work completed was good.

Tony (PM) and Chris (Owner) were great to communicate with throughout the job.

it's quite possible to just get new doors built. The only hindrance might be the type of hinges currently being used as that could complicate things a bit but I suspect that wouldn't be an issue either. Certainly would be cheaper than a new kitchen. A lot of cabinet manufacturers can even make exact copies of the doors you currently have, shoot me a PM if you want me to inquire at the company I'm subbing to.

Dreamspace did our doors and drawers, we're very happy with them.

We redid this kitchen - just the doors, hinges with soft close for $1200.

That looks really good! Wish I could do that but my kitchen cabinets were built in place back in 1950 and not a standard size.

They don’t just take doors off the shelve, they custom size each door to whatever measurement you bring them. Just a flip, didn’t want to spend the extra money.
