Potentially looking for a short term lease, something around the 6-9 month range and was wondering where everyone searches for deals. So far I've tried: leasebusters.com, leasecosts.ca and Kijiji with not a lot of luck. Do you just need to be patient and quick snatch something up when it gets posted?

Best option so far is in Montreal: 2017 M2 (https://www.leasecosts.ca/en/lease-takeover-canada/listing/lease-takeover-montreal-qc-2017-bmw-m2-automatic-2wd-id4116)

I went through a short term lease scenario (I was looking for 12 to 18 Months) not long ago. Yes you are right just need to be patience and not too picky.
I found mine on Kijji.
Good luck with your search

I looked at this one recently and figured I could make $1-2k for buyout and sell after the lease

And then there's this guy who's over KM's

You could get a brand new Cadillac ATS for $525/ month for 6 months.

Directly from Cadillac? I should check them out.

I got mine from CMP but I’m sure any dealer will do it if you ask. It’s usually done through in house financing.

When did you get yours?

According to GM's locator tool new 2018 ATS are sold out across the province, and are discontinued for 2019.

I got a line on a 6 month lease for a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate for $399 per month with $2,000 down
MSRP on the truck is around $80,000

On a 6 month lease with that down payment you are paying $732/month. Doesn't seem very good.

732 a month still seems like a good deal for a short term lease. For a truck that expensive, I figured it would be 1000+ assuming this is a new lease and not a takeover.

Smart dealer. 6 month lease for a good deal to consumer, offload to US when done.
