Emtek, the company that runs bbm for consumers now says it is shutting down the service as of may 31st. I'm one of those people who still use it daily, although that's more out of habit than anything else.

When it first came out it was amazing. I think back in 2009 or so a group of coworkers started using it for project collaboration and it was awesome.

I don't think I'll have any issues using whatsapp from now on, as I am already familiar with it, but BBM will be missed.

Bunch of my friends and I still use it for security and encryption, they don't like whatsapp or really anything to do with fb. We move to telegram yesterday haha. Have to admit, will miss BBM though, it was awesome in the beginning.

Wasnt there a feature in bbm where you could nudge someone and it would make their phone vibrate to alert them you were looking for them. I wish whatsapp had that feature.

I think talking about BBM is the easiest way to age yourself in 2019

I don't know a single person, not even a coworker, who uses a Blackberry/BBM. This has been the case for many years now. Ever since WhatsApp came out it pretty much killed it.

So does anyone know if there is a way to stabilize a playbook for better porn surfing? Like maybe a better browser?

Use it as a stand for your phone.
