You guys have any experience with installing/relocating seat controls to make room for a double din? Just want to know how easy it is to do before I tear apart the dash.

Any thoughts or advice on wheel fitment? I do not want to go crazy, it will be my daily. I would like to try out M3 wheels. Any thoughts on ride quality?

Last point: Headlights, any advice for a place to buy a brighter setup?

I like these on the 330xi, 18” m-sport

19” staggered M3 wheels would look weird and the rears probably wouldn’t fit without some fender work

I was hoping you'd chime in.

Those wheels look awesome.

Where'd you find a set?

Good: get Morimoto X35 bulbs

Better: get Osram CBI or Philips X-treme Vision gen2

Best: Send it out for lens upgrade or even projector swap.

I got these BMW knockoff wheels from Cort at UrbanX South. Only available in a square setup but perfect for me because the car mainly sees lots of highway mileage.

Oh, and I have seen aftermarket plates that allow a double DIN to fit in the dash. Looks like they just relocate the controls below the stereo down a bit.

For the best option, who do I send it out to?

Got the dealer to throw them in when I bought the M... I believe they are style 270, they pop up on kijiji every now and then, square 18x8 +20 I believe

Any of the kits for double din will install easily. However it will most likely look like ass. I was pretty unimpressed with it in my 335i. Look at pics and try to think about how the ergonomics of it will be, then decide if you really want it.

3 Objectives:

Bluetooth/handsfree calling
Music integration with my phone
Backup camera.

I dont need the backup camera but every once in a while when I'm backing out I am used to glancing at it. I have it in my RS3 and in my now sold a4.

I've seen how most make the HVAC controls look like ass and the relocation of the seat controls.

I guess I should try and see one in person first.

Some goof on youtube cut a righteous hole in his dash. I'm not doing that.
