Alternator, timing belt, CV joints, etc. been done back in January of 2002. Body in really good shape. Interior is clean like heck.

I sold my 4th gen not long ago, it was a 1988 DX 4 dr, 185 k and I got 2500 no prob, it was in good shape too.

They are probly asking 4000 to 5000 I bet for that car you are asking about.

i would say you could get 3500 or so. You'd be pushing it if you wanted 4000 for the car just cos of the km's it has.

Guy wants $4900 OBO on it. He only owned it for a week because his gf prefers a 4-door. The owners he bought it from were the original owners (old couple).

So I don't know about $4000

He'll have a really tough time getting even $4K for it IMO. I have a friend that just picked up a 88(?) Civic DX for $1700. It was in good condition (minor rust) with about 170,000km on the odo.

There were a few in the $4-6K range in the Auto Trader, but they never sold and sat in there for months.

I say keep the car and enjoy it, or he'd lose a lot of $.
