In a recliner chair. Landmark has the better ones.

My wife and I only go to Landmark now because of the recliners. Way more space, dual cup holders, don't need to move when people walk by. Plus with the Atom app, you don't need to stand in line for tickets or concessions!!

VIP in Seton is really good. Great seats, food/drink brought to you.

Correct, it's inconvenient. Country hills is the nicer of the two. Worth it.

Cineplex brought in recliner chairs and somehow you still feel cramped 6 inches away from the stranger next to you, sharing a cup holder.

I hear their VIP seats are nice, but double the cost.

Yep, those are the only 2 for now. There's a new one going in at Market Mall, but that's a long way from being finished.

I work in the area so I was chatting with one of the construction workers. They said they want to have the Market Mall theater completed before Xmas for the debut of the upcoming Star Wars movie in December.

They also don't charge extra for it either. Atom is nice as you can easily refund your tickets if your plans change.

Coming full circle. Who remembers going to watch movies at the Market Mall theatres years ago?

Not only the theaters, but I remember when they were in a separate building at Market Mall. Then they built the expansion incorporating them.

God I'm old.

I grew up in that theatre haha. Watched so many movies, played so many video games there. More games at Wizards Castle tho where Moxies now sits.

Fast forward to today, there's actually 2 theatres going up in the area. The one that we're talking about where Staples used to be, and a VIP adults only one across the street in University Village or whatever it's called.

The seats in IMAX chinook at way to fucking small and there is 0 leg room. maybe other theatres are better. AVX is my go to.

Because I live out of town, I figured I'd try the closest/newest theater for AVX at east hills. Hopefully its alright.
