Hey Beyond,

I am looking for a good physio place. This summer I sprained my rotator cuff, MCL, both wrists and thumb. 2 weeks after that, I corked my thigh (adductor magnus) and crushed my sprained knee. My thigh and knee doubled the size of my of my good leg and was bruised all the way around from my crotch to below my knee.

I went back to work after that weekend and left that friday morning and headed to the foothills i was in so much pain. Turns out my hematoma was a 16cm x 40cm muscle tear and had a vein bleeding into my leg.

I just barely dodged surgery and a blood transfusion. These were all dumbass dirtbike injuries.

FF a few months, my knee is feeling ok but still swollen, shoulder is very sore. I've lost 20lbs and I need help.
Any suggestions or recommendations?

Dont have a recc, other then a recc to avoid Rocky Mountain Health in Veterans Place. They sent me for an MRI, show up and turns out the MRI had been down for 2 months (and they had been called about it by the imaging unit), and had been rebooked without telling me to three months later (great use of a work afternoon). Not even a 'sorry bout that'. Refuse to provide booking confirmations via email, dont return calls. To say i was annoyed by being referred to them for my shoulder by my doc is a massive understatement (and then got re-referred by them to another specialist with a 16 month wait)

I've had good experience with Ken Falconer at Panther Physio location in Vivo. He helped me rehab a ruptured achilles among other things.

Go to Adjust Your Health and visit Dr. Brian Boisvert

While not physio specifically he utilizes active release and Chiro.

I've had good success with Steve at Crowfoot Physio with arm/elbow pains. This was a few years ago so not sure if he's still there.
Chelsi at Radiant Physio in Macewan was good for wife with her neck, back and shoulder pains.

Michael Westway was great to work with. Hes works out of the Lifemark Springborough office.

Chelsi at Radiant Physio in Macewan was good for wife with her neck, back and shoulder pains. Pretty sure that's spelled Chelsey, and yeah she's good, and that clinic is good and well organized.

What had you done up to this point? It sounds like you waited at least a week before you went to Foothills which, if true, is pretty dumb. A swollen leg and bruises like that need attention, toughing it out really isn't smart. Please don't tell us that those pictures are a month or more after the injury.

Fuck, you remind me of one of my brothers - he had a testicle that started swelling and it got almost to the size of a grapefruit before he did anything about it. He couldn't even cross his legs and his wife suggested that he should do something about it, he lost that nut, testicular cancer but is okay now, just a one nut wonder now. Of course this is the brother who is far sighted to the point he can't even read the numbers on any of the gauges in his vehicle including the speedometer and he still won't get glasses.

That pic is the Tuesday after the long weekend in Sept. I "HAD" to get 30, 3D models completed and I did put work before my own well being. Stupid i know, trying to impress a boss that let me go to save costs about a month ago. fucking fuck
