Are we going to be able to get f1 in 4k in 2020?? Is the deal done with TSN??

TSN deal ends this year. Not sure if they will renew seeing as renewal contract must allow for f1 tv streaming as an option. TSN had the ability to broadcast in 4K, they just chose not to.

Here’s hoping f1 tv goes 4K next year.

One day there will be a hack that allows F1 cars to sound like V10s (or any engine you want) - as they appear on TV. The RPMs of each vehicle on the track is already part of the mass media telemetry.

Quiet in person, loud on TV.

... among other such features.

Ok cool I searched and couldn’t find anything, seems like liberty may just make them a streaming service. Guess they just need to run the numbers on what tsn pays and how many subscribers from Canada they would get. 4k and more viewing would be great

Dont kid yourself - F1 will become all electric in the next 10-20 years due to political correctness.

Also the V6 hybrids sound like shit compared to the V10s.

And I'd still rather hear the real noise, even if its tire squeal than some fake noise from a TV. I'm under no illusions V10s are coming back. And I appreciate the clip, but I have been to a number of live races during the V10 era, so I know what we're missing. My point is I'd rather hear real noises that sound closer and closer to just tire squeal than some fake noise that's only on TV manufactured in a lab.

I miss the V10s. Even the V8s were better than the current V6s. Glad I got to see a race before those were retired. The V6s live arent terrible but just nowhere near the punch and outright sound of the V8/V10

Honestly the V10s sounds better. All about the revs.
