Well, my Riders got knocked out this afternoon, Stamps were out last weekend soooooo Go Tiger Cats???

Who has tickets? Who's going to be hitting up the parties?

I picked up a set. Have always wanted to go and this seemed the least capitally intensive time to go.

To bad I couldn’t give a rats ass about any of the teams playing.

The parties are apparently the best part. I know people who go every year no matter where it's held. I never got into it.

I loathe the CFL, even growing up playing Canadian football. I've been to one or two Bombers games because I was invited and didn't want to be rude and decline. Having said that, I went to the Grey Cup in Winnipeg a couple years ago, it's was much better than I expected. It was like some of you, really just about going to one Grey Cup and since it was in town, it was cost effective to go.

In past years we've waited until the day before to buy tickets on Kijiji, always lower than face value and as austic pointed out, once the Riders got eliminated the demand went WAAAAAY down. I'm guessing you'll be able to buy on Kijiji for $100 or less.

An optimistic beyonders has just posted a set of 4 for full face value. Most be good seats because it's $450 each. Wow. Bet he he gets less than $250 each.

I didn't want to crap in his FS thread, so I was just coming here to post something similar...

That face value price is bananas - I had no idea. I expected there to be some last minute tickets available, especially because of the matchup and was kind of thinking of maybe picking up some tickets of Kijiji for, like 50 bucks or something... And that's only if the weather turned out ok, I had nothing else to do and basically could even be bothered... But $450 a seat? Ha

That's the face value but considering which two teams are in the game he'll be lucky to get $100 a seat. I don't care for either team in the game but if I'm going to get $0.25 on the dollar I might as well go.

I would have put it at 30% boos, 70% cheers. Back in 2016 when the game was in Toronto there was a 30 greeting from Justin Trudeau aired on the scoreboard and the whole stadium boo'd like crazy. No such video was shown today, I don't know if there was anything on the TV broadcast though.
