oh i was un aware of that, meh regardless its rare to see an earlier mitsubishi car around.

also those pics, were takin with my fugi. i hold down the button and walk by. i probably take around 30-40 pictures and pick the best ones

i dont like people noticing im taking pictures of the car

the pictures look like i circled the car, but the ones from the rear were me walking from my car to my location (not saying where this car was spotted) and the front was me walking back from my location to my car :bigpimp: im such a clever fucker hahah

OOH and yes some of you may recognize the buildings in the background, DONT say where this car was found. i took the time to avoid saying shit and blocking out liscnece plate, i find it extremely disrespectful to be like "OH this car is always at BLAH BLAH"

its just asking for a car thief to lurk our forum

shit, time to change forums, lol j/k j/k

yeah i was thinking when i saw the pics "this guy must have really looked like a moron posing and shit to take pics of that car"

but the sneakyness keeps you cool!!! so :bigpimp:

Yeah
there are quite a few around calgary.

A friend of mine has a 95 3000GT SL. Nothing special, but still a very clean car. I will try to post pics later today.

Dodge Stealth are basically re-badged 3000GT's, although the rear end is very different from the Mitsubishi variation.

I would love to get my hands on a 99 VR-4 Spyder. The '99 is the best looking 3000GT, but there are only a handful out there.

I am actually in the middle of a '99 VR-4 conversion on my stealth right now. pics when its done.

Actually they made a few '99 VR-4 Spyders. Like 16 I think. They also made a '91 convertible softop. I think like 5 of them.

If there were I would have bought one...

http://www.stealth316.com/2-production.htm

There were no factory soft tops ever made either.
There have been peolpe who have built custom soft top 3S's but not from factory.
I've seen a couple 3000GT spyders with 99 conversions, but unfortunately no factory 99 spyder's were built :(

Nope....

And the '91 convertibel softops were never made at the factory. There was about 10 done by some company (forget the name) as an aftermarket conversion.

The Green SL is mine but I've seen that black one at Mt.Royal a couple of times - parked beside him/her but didnt see the driver. The black one is the plain SOHC one, but a 1997+ year model.

um.. I still like that cars .. however .. probaby see them every few day now .. especially white colour ... ( which I think is the best colour )

Too bad .. most of them are not the VR-4 models..

However it is very good price to buy them from State ! may be that is why, saw a lots of them this summer !
For sure they look so much nicer then Stealth !

the point is insurance

on a 3000sL it is WAY cheaper than a VR4

a 3000sL with a VR4 motor is still classified as a 3000sL

peace

There are probaby many Pearl one around ... ?

I saw white 3000GTs with white male driver, yellow male driver , and brown driver as well ... they are nice cars, but .. nothing really special .. I think even a 968 may even more rare ! .... :)

09-24-2004, 01:10 AM
how are they nothing special? Do you see a 320 hp twin turbo AWD car everyday? Btw, i am pcicking one up next summer, thats why im being so defensive

DonJuan

These cars are not too common here as the fraternal twin the Stealth which is why they are more expensive than the Stealth. They are very cool cars the only downside to them from what I understand is the weight, which is what plagues the 300ZX and Supra as well.

HillBilly
09-24-2004, 10:29 AM
The 3000GT/Stealth weight problem is bigger than you think.

Mine weighs 4570lbs full of gas with nobody in it. But it still manages a 13.7 1/4 mile. Not bad for a tank.

As far as rare goes....

my car - 1995 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo (last year made)
- every option
- Canadian car (factory metric dash)
- forest green

I have done a lot of researh and there are 7 known to exist. (green ones)

I do have one of the harder ones to find though because in 95 they stopped making th Stealth. A viper was just an bit more $$ and you get a V10 so that killed the stealths sales.

The United States had a 96 Stealth but only 57 were sold. That was the end of the stealth era.

HA the orange one!!!! that one is the worst one I've ever seen! I don't know what the guy "thinks" he's done to his car but whatever he did he made it slow AND fugly. I've seen him get destroyed on by a Civic Si. His car sounds like ass, looks like ass, and is driven by the big daddy ass.
