Had my side window smoked my a rock on highway, blew up drivers window. I don’t have ‘glass’ coverage, but I thought that only covered the windshield? TD says no coverage at all for glass of anti type, I have comprehensive but ‘limited glass’

Is that right?

So he should have told them it happened while parked?

The 13D endorsement (limited glass) essentially excludes all accidental breakage of glass. 999 times out of 1000 that's rock chips on the windshield but as you have experienced a rock to the side window is not impossible. All of the spontaneous explosions of sunroofs are also excluded.

Govern yourself accordingly. I'm not suggesting insurance fraud is a good thing.

Honestly I thought limited glass only excluded the windshield and fancy sunroofs... the more you know!

window replacement was $199. Doubt the deductable would have been less

plus got new windshield. like a whole new truck
