Hey Beyond. I need your help!

I recently moved to a different condo, downsizing my patio area. Trying to get creative on how to organize the patio to make the most out of it, hopefully a couch, fire table, bbq etc.
Normal 6' x 12' patio. Post pictures of what you've done!

For reference, I can add to what i've done with a bigger condo patio for suggestions to the thread

Patio 2:

miss this patio!

So you moved to Patio 2?
Did you keep the same furniture? Do you actually own that specific bbq, table, chairs, heater?
Do you have some dimensions, and location for the door?
Which direction does it face?
You want to sit in the sun/shade?

No, both pictures are my last place (2 patios same address). We rent it out, so left the patio furniture.

Blank slate.
6ft wide, 12 ft long.
Door in center with about 3 ft on either side of it. 2 Doors, one opens outwards one just a vent.

Thinking a couch with fire table and bbq, looking to see what people are doing for ideas ;)

Sit in sun and buy an umbrella probably. Its a south facing unit, lots of sunshine.

I think you'll be stuck with 2 chairs and maybe some ottomans to put your feet up. That 6 foot depth is a killer. A small sectional is 7 feet x 7 feet. A comfortable size chair will be about 3 feet by 3 feet. A love seat is roughly 5 feet x 3 feet with a sofa adding a foot and a half.

Not sure how you put a fire table up there unless its crazy tiny. Napoleon has a nice option that's simple and square that could be tucked aside easily. Bigger question is will your condo board allow a fire table?

That was my next question. If it's propane-powered, you can argue it's like a BBQ grill.

I was on the Condo Board in my previous building for a few years (newer build, concrete building). Fire Tables weren't prohibited under the bylaws, but anything which required a propane tank was; BBQs, heaters, and other accessories had to draw fuel from the built-in NG lines on the patio. Best to verify as your bylaws could say otherwise, but I think the propane tank ban is pretty common.

If your building has NG hook ups, definitely look into your bylaws.

A corner sectional can also use space really effectively.

I’m doing the same right now and I’m looking for a shelf or table that hangs on the railing to maximize patio space! Just put some planters up since they weren’t doing so hot indoors

If anyone has a lead on that shelf or can make me one that would be dope

spikerS if you can make me a railing shelf for eating while standing that would be dope!

Ordered lights on amazon so should come this week. For now, some wick action! I’m still debating on putting a bench and moving my plants around.

Sweet thanks!

I’ve determined that bench seating can’t be done on my patio:

- my plants require maximum sunlight and the corner is best for them
- the grill takes up the view if I put it in the middle and put bench seating on the other end
- can’t put a bench in the middle because if you lean back by accident you’ll get glass
- if I put the bench against the rails in the middle you get no views

I might have to custom make an elevated platform so I can do bench seating while my plants get some sun swak if you can make bench seating work somehow I say do it!

Sure. As long as you don't need it tomorrow and let me take my time with it. Pretty much everything I make is a prototype and I usually scrap the first few I make out of my head because I think of a better way to do it.

Yeah, big kudos and I was worried I fucked up the measurements

Update: I was able to stack pallets and did corner bench seating so with that + the table, I can adequately host 4-6 persons in the patio and they have table real estate.
