I’ve always thought Jeeps were cool, and even cooler with a 350 swap.

Almost 20 years ago my brother and I swapped a 302HO from an ‘87 Mustang into a Jeep. We broke the bell housing and rear diff, but had a screaming ride for a couple weeks.

Since then I’ve noticed the new models, like the 2L with etorque - but would never own one. Probably never even be serious enough to sit in one.

But now...

That - THAT - would get me to a Jeep dealer.

Only thing I could see being shitty is for Canadian sales SRT models only see 3/60 warranty for drivetrain. It’s really frustrating.

However, a 470hp gladiator that could tow 8500 would be a contender. I just don’t want to pay 75k for it.

Off topic sort of - I’d LOVE a new gen RAM with the 392 6.4L 470hp (485 in challenger) engine.

The Gladiator already gets up past $70g without a V8. They'll probably tack on another $20g for the V8.

Gladiator Hellcat will be awesome and expensive. It's not going to be a performance bargain by any stretch.

Thats crazy! Same price as a F150 Limited, hell even get into a F350 Lariat probably. Isn't the Durango getting a Hellcat version next year?

That would be like 120k.

I’m trying to determine the NA 6.4L gladiator pricing lol. I can actually see it around 90 now. Man alive that’s nuts.

It won’t be better than any top trim 1/2 ton. So would people pay that much?

I can’t justify the price for a new wrangler as is.
Tack on a V8 and the prices will be insane.

Thanks soccer moms.....

It’s a jeep with a V8. It doesn’t have to compete with anything.

This is Jeeps mic drop to kill the bronco lol

I'm sure a Bronco Raptor with 3.5L ecoboost eventually will show up once the craze calms.

Imagine how much more quickly the windshields will crack with that extra powa.

I guess the 392 is now over 10yrs old? Makes sense they keep the wrangler on theme

In 2010 you could buy a 2dr 6sp, loaded rubicon for $34k... what a time to be alive. It’s almost like the “best resale” is a Ponzi scheme
