I have been asked to be on the lookout for a fun summer convertible for a family acquaintance.
She is looking for a car with a budget of $4000-$5000 with some stipulations:
One-no projects. Something that needs tidying is OK but no rusted out floorpans or missing interiors.
Two-stock only. No mods unless it's factory upgrades. OK with manual trans.
Three-preferably Alberta registered and within a few hours drive of Calgary.
Four-prefer it not be listed for sale already at least on the major sites. She is scoping out online ads but she would prefer not to deal with Kijidiots. I/we are looking for something that is quietly for sale.

Cars that fit the bill: Miata, VW Cabrio, MGB, BMW E30 E36 E46, Audi TT (maybe a stretch with her budget), something fun and cute (her words). I would imagine that leaves out Mustangs, Sebrings, Cavaliers and that sort.
Feel free to post here or via PM. Include a pic if possible.

TIA

Thank you! I can read Kijiji ads as good as the buyer I am helping out. The goal is to use online forums that she will never visit to find her a car.
