In an effort to find jobs from other provinces that may hate Alberta, I'm considering buying phone numbers in different provinces that when dialed, would automatically forward to my main 403 number.

A) Is this pretty easy to set up as a pay-as-you-go sim, and do I need a cell phone for each number to allow the forwarding to complete?

B) Will the extra sims be charged minutes or my main 403 number since it's the one being forwarded to?

Why not just rock a separate cheap phone from that area code? Or even just dual sim?

Forwarding seems like an unessecary complication.

Public mobile my bro. Call Forwarding does use minutes on your plan, but even the $15/mo plan has unlimited incoming minutes. Need separate SIM for each phone number though. Dual-sim Phone, or cheap burner phone with local SIM would work fine.

If you have any SHAW services today, the $0 free add-on (nationwide talk & text), would allow you to add a BC number.
