I know nothing about juicers. Years ago we had a Hamilton beach which we used. It did the job. Nothing fancy.

I am thinking of getting a good juicer for Christmas. Did a google search and I see Breville and HUROM (Never heard of them before) are rated pretty highly.

I am sure some of you have used one or the both and what is your take on it?

On a juicer what I should be looking for?

TIA

The Omegas are pretty good. Are you juicing wheat grass?

Yeah we will be. Do I need to look for any thing special when it comes to using wheat grass?

You need masticating juicers for things like wheatgrass. I have an omega vert and its really great. I can nut butter in mine as well. Great dry pulp on the ejection side so it extracts a lot of juice, and no heat like the rotary juicers do which can cause some nutrient breakdown. Spend the money, its worth it

An Omega from Costco.ca. I picked red because you are bound to stick your penis in there when the lockdown blues hits you. https://www.costco.ca/omega-horizontal-slow-masticating-juicer%2c-red.product.100711889.html

Waste of time and money. Never known anyone to continue using a juicer for long. Just blend in a vitamix and drink that evil fiber

Thanks Everyone. I will take a look at Omega's.
Any one here has any feed back on HUROM?

+1 on keeping the fibre with a Vitamix.

We use a Champion Juicer in our home. It's a masticating juicer and quite heavy duty. It's tried & true and gets the job done.

My only gripe would be the cleaning afterwards.

We've been using the Omega J8008 juice for a couple years and it's been solid. Highly recommended

Too bad nothing else is without all that fiber.

A long time ago when I went down this road I bought a Vitamix instead. You get to keep all the good stuff juicers throw out and you can use it for lots of other stuff as well. Blend anything long enough in something as powerful as a Vitamix and you end up with juice anyway haha.

I've been looking for a few specific used Breville appliances, so i search Breville a lot on kijiji. 99% of the results are juicers, so definitely sounds like something people buy and don't end up using.

+1 for vitamix instead

Can confirm. Kept my vitamix and sold my juicer. Juicing is too time consuming and messy. Rich people just buy bottled juices hand squeezed by poor people anyway.

At only $10.00 for 300ml you can't afford not to just buy it.

Perfect that's the confirmation I was looking for.
Buying a juicer is the right route for me.

You know the poor people wear gloves when they are juicing so that their poverty won't rub off on you.

You'd be better served owning the juice jar and running 8 machines at once. Imagine the profits*!!!

Thanks for pointing me to this. I bought this and wife loves it and so far it has been put to very good use.
Highly recommend this to any one who is looking for one.
