I don't think you realize what obo means. Just because he didn't accept your lowball offer doesn't mean shit.

FIRM would mean the price is set and that's it.

OBO means he will take the best offer he feels he will get but that is completely upto him.

Maybe you should start looking for a cheaper phone if his S307 is out of your price range.

The HUP for the S307 is $199, plus the $25 BS fee, then GST plus it would be locked phone, plus no handsfree with it and the kicker is that you have to sign to a 2 year contract ($200 to break it)

The price is not unresonable as far as I can tell.

Well if you wanted a tri-band phone then you could do that. Why the hell would you even compare a S300 and S307? One is tri-band and the other isn't. The phones are for 2 completely different people.

Went by a Rogers store (looking for a battery for the V300 for my V400) and the price of the S307 is back up to $299 with all the stipulations....yikes! :eek:

Funny, must have been a temporary price reduction or something when I was considering buying it a few weeks back(love the size and ringtones). Makes this even a better deal! :)

hey akagi, you can use any motorola battery..(well the V series)
I stuck my extended V60i battery into my V525 it fits just that my case couldn't close. so you can use the other Vseries batteries.
