Already hitting some hurdles. SK innovation (Korea) is accused of stealing tech from LG Chem (Korea), so the USITC stepped in and decided to do a ban on purchases from SK for 10 years.
There isn't really a sourceable car battery maker in the USA. Tesla will be using their batteries for their cars.
