Already hitting some hurdles. SK innovation (Korea) is accused of stealing tech from LG Chem (Korea), so the USITC stepped in and decided to do a ban on purchases from SK for 10 years.

There isn't really a sourceable car battery maker in the USA. Tesla will be using their batteries for their cars.

May as well, whatever they stole from LG, may have got fire hazard along with it.
