Hey everyone,
It's time to sell my drop top 6MT 350Z. I've had it throughout the winter while my other car was in the shop. During that time I've spent almost $2500 getting it into the shape it is today. The former owner had installed a subwoofer in the trunk, and a horrible, cracked carbon dash. The subwoofer has all been removed and the dash has been restored to OEM. Please note that the car is on winter tires right now, and it does not come with all seasons or summers.
Exterior
- aftermarket white headlight bulbs
- Z1 Motorsports LED licence plate bulbs
- New OEM Nissan license plate clips
Interior
- Tomei duracon shiftknob with Z1 motorsports black shift boot collar
- white LED interior map lights
- Pioneer double din (Bluetooth and phone capable, but no microphone installed)
- likely aftermarket speakers
Motor/trans
- K&N Typhoon short ram
- Greddy axleback exhaust (very quiet)
- unknown aftermarket brand clutch and likely flywheel installed
- unknown brand short shifter likely installed
- block heater
Suspension
- unknown brand aftermarket lowering springs
Maintenance
- new passenger compression rod/bushing at 165k
- new rear Federal Himalaya’s (winters) on the rear at 165k (older X-Ice on the front)
- new belts at 169k
- new windshield
- motor oil change at 171k
- tranny oil change at 165k
- alignment at 165k
Notes/observations
- slight rust has been painted over on the passenger side quarter panel. In the picture of the fender you are not seeing rust, you are seeing
a layer of Eastwood Rust Encapsulator that has been painted over to prevent further rusting.
- exterior has a few not well colour matched touch up spots
- canvas top is in need of replacement, however there are no leaks. I have a free carwash at work and wash it like three times a week so
I’m sure
- 5th gear grind if you don’t enter at the perfect angle, could be a shifter bushing?
- passenger side cup holder spring has dislodged itself (common Z problem)
- I took off the engine cover to do the belt change, but I can put it back on
