2002 Honda CRV EX. The last of the 2.4L Manuals.
This a Japanese built automotive classic has engineering roots that can be traced back to Samurai sword making.
The good.
I bought this used in 2012 with 212,000km.
The majority of the miles are all highway. I have changed the oil every 5km to keep the engine sweet.
All major maintenance has been done. Spark plugs, coolant change, new rear braked and calipers, valve adjustment, new battery. struts were also changed five years ago. Engine runs fine and could easily go to 500,000km and more.
This vehicle best suited to anyone looking for a local AWD runaround. Or who wants to learn the dark arts of manual transmission with a real clutch.
Comes with Winter Tires on separate OEM Rims.
The summer tires are in really good condition. I bought new in 2019.
Winters are very new, bought 2019.
The bad.
No air-conditioning.
Engine light has been on for past three years. But is a non issue. If you are handy with a garage then its just a case of new sensors.
P0325 - Knock Sensor
P1167/1166 - Oxgen Sensor.
You can change these yourself. I have driven to Vancouver a few times and Seattle with the engine light on. It drives fine.
