Very exciting. Basically the car that got me into cars and is the cause of my obsession. Looking forward to learning more about it.

Unless this is the actual Aventador replacement, I'm not sure it will be that exciting.

I wonder what the cross section of the population is of people who are buying Lamborghini’s and people who are susceptible to marketing on Twitter.

So you are saying it's gonna be another SUV? :D

Obviously it'll be an SUV. Yes.

Remember when Lambo didn't make shitty looking SUVs that were a cynical way to rip off suckers using platform that is basically based on the Audi A4?

Either way, it's a great platform for a vehicle that costs as much as a decent starter condo.

Jonny Lieberman says it’s the Lamborghini Countach LP800-4, the final Aventador iteration. 789hp, $3.5 million. That’s all he says he knows.

They already did it with the Miura. The whores.

I’m not sure who josh lewoman is, but I don’t think that’s accurate.

Aventador production will end in roughly 6 months and I don’t see Lamborghini selling a remodelled SVJ for $3.5m.

Imo this will be the Aventador successor with hybrid engine. Which is still lame but the future for Lamborghini from 2024 on it sounds like.

Doesn’t Lambo sell remodelled aventadors for silly money in small runs literally all the time?

Lol it'd be funny if it's an Aventador with new shell.

Edit: Oh wait it is!

and here I was thinking (and hoping) that Lambo was just announcing a new Lego Technic model or something.

Veneno and centenario were the only real remodelled aventadors from my knowledge and the Veneno was only like 12 cars and the Centenario is about 40?

The Sian is what we can probably expect the Aventador successor to be like, which this sounds like it will be.

It's like a kit car thrown onto an Aventador instead of Fiero.

Basically. Same premise and will never get driven.

The kit car on an Aventador won't move because these cars are made to be an investment.
The kit car on a Fiero won't move because it's a POS GM.

I was really worried it would look way too much like an Aventador with insane angles everywhere. When I saw it this morning, that's exactly how I felt about it especially with the giant door vent, and the geometric tail lights. But it is growing in me, very, very quickly. I love the wheel arches. That and the faint impression of the pop up lights is great.

They better not screw this up and give it Aventador doors that aren't really a scissor!

I love it, but the wheel arches are a bit of a miss IMO. I love that they modeled them after the originals, but hate that the front half of each is simply round with black cladding to make it look angular. Either make it round, or don't.
