Cheap XC setup - Black Friday sales?

I do XC skiing line once a year, but the renting is a hassle. Just boring slow classic ski style, not skate. Prefer waxless. Anywhere have a decent sale on gear for black friday?

Can't you just buy something used? If you only do it 1 day a year who cares and you can get some pretty good shit for like $40 for a setup

Probably true, but buying used usually required an educated purchaser. Weirdly I'm more scared of buying used XC skis than a used truck.
