I'm sure some of you have seen this on social medias, but there's a campaign to organize donations to animal shelters in Betty's name in the week leading up to her birthday on Jan 17th.
These are pretty good causes at any time, but it seems like a nice heartwarming tie-in. I sent in a donation to the Meow Foundation. CBC News says lots of local charities are getting new donations. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/betty-white-challenge-cats-dogs-calgary-1.6308823
