My dash is coming out to replace a heater core. I'd like to wrap it in Alcantara before reinstalling it. I reached out to Chinook Auto Upholstery but they refused the job since they said the dash will not fit properly with the additional material on it.

I'm seeing lots of sweet projects online of dash wraps that appear to turn out just fine. Does anyone have another recommendation for a shop in town to do this, or should I just try and DIY?

thinmyster did his headliner a long time ago. Turned out great. Less curves than your dash but nothing the right 3M sprayglue and patience can't solve.
