So TikTok snuck out of bed early this morning and left me to eat breakfast alone but he mentioned me being "dumber than a kitchen sink and uglier than a Saturn" (that's just his way) and it reminded me of this ancient commercial.

And that's the real reason that we instantly need a Saturn thread.

The guy hitting the car with his bicycle does it for me

There was no sneaking. You paid me. The transaction was complete.

My mom had a 2004 Saturn Vue. Treated it well, serviced it, and it basically fell apart and was scrap by 2015-2016. My 1994 base model Integra had a 10x snappier manual transmission, better sound system, everything.

It did have some comfy leather seats and a big sunroof though.

Also, my uncle one time backed it up into a flower planter, the bumper did not pop back out.

I think she actually just sold it for parts for 500 bucks a few weeks ago. End of an era

Unclear what was sold for $500... the bumper, the flower planter, the Integra, or the Vue

Hahaha fair. It was the Vue.

Integra was sold long ago by me.

Uncle probably worth ~$500, maybe more to his family, but as far as I'm aware has not been sold at any point.

I have no definitive information on the planter, but I suspect it was repaired and still holds flowers to this day.

I now leave this thread feeling satisfied. A+

Still remember the tagline:

"Saturn. Different kind of car company. Different kind of car."

It was different, alright.

Had a 98 SL1 sedan all through uni. Toughest car I’ve ever owned. Literally had zero issues in the 5 years I owned it. Kinda miss that thing lol.

Yeah, I recall cleaning one up for a guy that was curbing cars and it had a shit pile of miles on it but everything was still good.

I loved my Astra. Wake up with back pain, or come off the golf course with back pain, sit in those seats and 10 minutes later all was perfect.

It was soooo sloooowwww though. It also wasn't plastic, but Tomco took care of the dents easily enough.

The aforementioned Vue had a 5 speed manual attached to I believe a 2.4L inline 4. Im pretty sure one of those smart car car2go's (or any smart car I suppose) would have dusted it.

My friend had a Sky that he supercharged and it went like a raped ape. Noisy as Hell, but fun. I remember the windshield cracking because we went around an onramp too fast one time. LoL!

The catalytic converter.

I LoL'd!!
