Just curious what people are using for detailing these days.

I'd like to get an interior leather cleaner / conditioner, exterior wax, scratch remover, things like that.

Having not had a car I gave 2 shits about for 5 years I have been out of the game and see these Chemical Guys & AutoGlym products, but I'm aware they likely could just be a companies with cool marketing where some classic Meguiar's maybe does just as good a job for less.

303 protectant is awesome for interior. Not shiny/greasy but makes leather vinyl and plastic just look clean and new

Interior cleaner - P&S interior
Interior conditioner/dressing - 303 aero protectant
If it's real leather - Colourlock Aniline.

Exterior wax - Collinite 845 / Soft99 Fusso
Detail spray - Carpro Reload

Glass - Carpro Clarity and Angelwax Vision

Sonax for pretty much everything

303 makes some awesome protectants

A few places carry Sonax in town. But if you want a wicked place to go to, then go here - https://carzilla.ca/

Recommendations for a one-step polish for new black vehicle to use with a porter cable orbit polisher. Just minor swirls to take care of prior to sealing with a ceramic coating.

Rupes Uno

I don't think Uno is a good option for pre-coating polish. It'll prevent the coating from bonding properly.

Just use CarPro Essence if you want to a single product that'll polish and prep prior to coating.

Good point. I missed the coating part.

I agree with using Essence as a one step.

I found this minor hairline scuff near my door. It's not major and unseen from far, but just unsightly and annoying to look at up close. It doesn't seem deep as I can't feel the scuff/scratch. Probably from my shoe or bag when getting into my car.

Any recommendations on products for removing minor scuffs like these? As a bonus, if it also polishes tail lights and clear plastics, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

I don't know why I feel like saying "toothpaste and a grinding wheel" is so funny, right now. It's not helpful!
But for some reason I'm giggling in my chair like a simpleton!

Sorry! Carry on.
