Q: Muffler Ticket

I just installed my exhaust today with 2.5" catback exhaust piping and god damn its so loud, even with my silencer in, and its a deep rumble loud,

Just wondering what the price of too loud exhaust are from cops these days in case I get one cuz I know I will...

i think its 70-80$? i had one like a year ago. Buy a resonator and get it put in.

LOL I just got it done today and yeah its just straight thru exhaust with the muffler and resonator was too expensive..maybe i'll just keep it at low revs when cops are around

Are you saying that you don't ahve a muffler or a resonator? you can get a muffler for so cheap used and also a resonator for like 30-40$. Straight threw set up on the street ....... WAY TOO LOUD!

It is 115 and it is not a noise ticket it is an enlarged opening ticket. I got one two months ago

ok the thing is you can get rasnater from any oher car it doesn't really matter as long as the piping is the same like eg. 2'' piping get 2'' res it might not bring it down a whole lot or it might but seroiusly it's better then nothing. I think my friend paid like $20 for a res on his old jetta and his was so loud you could here him from blocks away

Hahahah no no no I have a muffler,

I just dont have a 2nd muffler or resonator, still have the cat tho...but its not that loud til I full throttle or anytthing above 3000rpm so I'll just shift before then if I see cops...
