Does anyone know if the rules apply to new and used vehicles advertised by a dealer?
Went to look at a used car on the weekend and sat down to look at numbers and the sales guy added about $3500 over and above the advertised price saying it was for dealer fees and GST. I get the GST part but it doesn’t work out to $3500.

I don't think dealers give a fuck about this supposed "all in pricing law".

Dealers either:
1) aren't aware of the rule
2) don't fear any repercussions from violating the rule

Good luck.

If it’s a dealer, new or used the only number they can add over the advertised number online/print is GST.

Thats kind of what I figured. I looked at that link before and I don’t know how I missed the part about used vehicles…
